Studying herbalism from a Christian perspective has been a lifelong dream of mine, coming to fruition with the School of Christian Herbalism: first with Christian Family Herbalist, then Foundations of Christian Herbalism, and finally Advanced Christian Herbal Medicine. When I started the Christian Family Herbalist course, I thought that was where I would stop; however, the material was so thorough and informative, yet tangible for someone like me who didn’t have a lot of experience with utilizing herbs for improving health, that I couldn’t help but continue my studies by taking the Foundations in Christian Herbalism course. The material in all the classes has been in-depth and tangible, and it has prepared me for the Advanced Christian Herbal Medicine course; while the Advanced course is rigorous, each lesson builds on the last, so the assignments are difficult yet attainable. I highly recommend all the courses at the School of Christian Herbalism, with the Advanced Christian Herbal Medicine course being the ultimate achievement for teaching Christian Holistic Herbalism within your practice or community.

I’ve had the privilege of taking both the Foundations of Christian Herbalism course and the Advanced Christian Herbal Medicine course with Vas. I can truthfully say I have grown immensely not only in my understanding of herbs, but in my capacity as a budding herbalist. The connections I’ve made with other Christian herbalists here are invaluable, and I can now talk about herbs in ways that don't conflict with my beliefs. I appreciate the respect shown toward all the different herbal paths that have led others, like me, to this place. It’s a very positive environment. In Vas’s lectures, which are well-designed and purposeful, his passion for herbs and love for the Christian faith are clearly communicated; and, though the course pace is relaxed, lectures and assignments are meaty enough for days of thought and consideration. I still can’t thank you enough for creating this school. I continue to be incredibly grateful for being able to be educated from a Christian perspective in this herbal space that is so overrun with witchcraft and pagan thought. Thank you for all of the years that you self-taught, and tried various schools of herbalism to gain a holistic understanding of the craft. It’s amazing to have a solid Christian who is entrepreneurial in spirit and thinks outside of the conventional box, but still maintains orthodoxy, to be one’s teacher. Please continue to listen to God’s calling on your life as you are a forerunner for many who need training in this field and want it to be infused with the Holy Spirit, like me! Thank you for all of your critiques, and I welcome more instruction. I have so much to learn and long to really help people in effective ways. I appreciate your insight and experience. In some ways, I’m happy to be coming to the end of the course, and other ways I’m sad as I find it to be incredibly invigorating.

I love the course. It is so in depth. I have taken courses from other schools and yours by far is the most in depth. I am only 8% through the Foundations Course and feel as though I am getting a better understanding of healing with herbs than any other course. In the past I had more of a pharmaceutical approach - in other words, use this herb will work for this particular ailment. You totally changed my thinking! I love your model of really getting to know each herb on a deeper level..

I feel really blessed that I “stumbled” across this website and found this school. I had been praying for guidance in terms of a Christian perspective regarding herbalism.
